Simon Edelmann was born in 1984 in Heppenheim, Germany. From 2003 to 2008 he studied architecture at the ETH Zurich. He graduated in 2009 under Professor Markus Peter, following an internship with Marcel Meili Peter Architekten in Zurich. He acquired his first professional experience with Pfister Architekten in Zurich from 2009 to 2011.

In 2012 Simon Edelmann joined Fischer Architekten, where he took over the function of project manager in 2016. He established a reputation in the field of competitions and has been jointly responsible for several successfully completed projects. From 2018 onwards, he contributed to design-related tasks in all project subphases as a member of the extended management team. Since 2020 he has been a member of the management team and a joint shareholder. Today, among other things, he is responsible for the area of competitions and serves as chairman of the board of directors.

Gian Müller was born in 1982. After working as a ceramist in Greece for several years, he trained as a draughtsman at the Gewerbliche Industrielle Berufsschule (GIB) in Bern from 2007 to 2010 and then acquired professional experience with Reinhardpartner Architekten between 2010 and 2013. In 2012 he began to study architecture part-time at Zurich University of Applied Sciences, successfully completing his Bachelor’s degree in 2016 and his Master’s degree in 2023.

Gian Müller joined Fischer Architekten AG in 2013 and in 2014 took over the function of project manager for building construction. Having been responsible for construction-related tasks at all project phases as a member of the extended management team from 2018 to 2022, he joined the management as a joint shareholder in 2022. Since 2018, he has also been in charge of the BIM area.

Mark van Kleef was born in 1968 in the Netherlands and grew up in Switzerland. He studied architecture at the ETH Zürich and graduated in 1996 under Professor Hans Kollhoff. After working for some time as an assistant for design and construction at the chairs of Andrea Deplazes and Valerio Olgiati, in 1999 he joined Max Dubler Architekten as project manager and was responsible for building up the Zurich office. Until 2017 he was managing director of this office and was jointly responsible for all the projects in Switzerland. He then worked for three years as head of development at a well-known real estate firm in Zug.

In 2020 Mark van Kleef joined Fischer Architekten as a member of the management team and a joint shareholder. He devotes himself mainly to detail design, as well as to the areas of tendering and contracts.

Carol Gartmann was born in 1968 in New Jersey, USA. After attending secondary school in Vaduz (FL) and taking an all-round banking internship in Zurich and Lugano she studied business administration at Zurich University.

After completing her studies, her first job was with Arthur Andersen (today Ernst & Young). While working there, from 1996 to 1999 Carol Gartmann completed a part-time training course to become a certified Swiss auditor. After a further year with Arthur Andersen, in 2000 she moved to agri.ch as Head of Finance. In a management buy-out that subsequently followed she moved to green.ch as a member of the management team.

In 2004, for family reasons there followed a number of part-time positions as finance and personnel manager in various international and regional businesses in the engineering, medical and architecture sectors.

In 2013 Carol Gartmann joined Fischer Architekten AG as head of human resources and finances. Since 2017 she has been a member of the management team and a joint shareholder.

An exchange year took him to Brazil, where he attended the University of São Paulo and gained his first practical experience. After graduating in Lisbon, he initially worked both for ARX Portugal Arquitectos and as an independent architect in Portugal. In 2012, he moved to Switzerland to take on a post at Marti AG Architekten in the canton of Glarus.

Miguel Torres joined Fischer Architekten in 2016, where he assumed the position of project manager in 2019. As of 2023 he became Associate to contribute his expertise in helping shape the company.

Daniel Schweiss was born in 1981 in the canton of St. Gallen and studied architecture at the ETH Zurich. His first professional experience included a six-month internship in Los Angeles. After graduating with Prof. Adrian Meyer in 2008, he worked at Schwarz & Schwarz Architekten and later at Walser Architekturteam AG in Zurich.

In 2013, Daniel Schweiss joined Fischer Architekten. He has been a project manager since 2017 and supports the management team as Associate since the beginning of 2024.
